Kaew puts on show of power

Kaew Fairtex put on a raw power display for the fans at Lumpini stadium against Petchmangkon SitOr.

Petchmangkon was no stranger to the Fairtex camp, having fought to a draw with Teelek the previous month.
Kaew started the fight looking strong, moving around the ring well and landing with hard left kicks and fast punch combinations.
Petchmangkon looked to use his height advantage and come in and strike with long knees, but Kaew used good lateral movement to step off and then fire in fast kicks.

In the third round Petchmangkon started to march forward, looking to try and tie Kaew up in the clinch. As he was coming in, Kaew opened up with a hard combination of punches, which rocked Petchmangkon's head back. Sensing his opponent was in trouble Kaew went in for the kill and opened up with a barrage of power punches, dropping Petchmangkon for an 8 count. Petchmangkon, bravely got to his feet and attempted to carry on, but Kaew was in no mood to let him off the hook and opened up again with another blistering attack, that sent Petchmangkon back to the canvas, where the Referee counted him out.
