Attachai at full steam

In more recent contest the talented Attachai Fairtex had been fading fast.

But in his latest foray at Lumpinee Stadium - matched against the tough Kongpipop Petchyindee - he finished strongly in a powerhouse display.

Attachai fought a near perfect fight - always in control with his long range kicks and fast fists in the clinches.

And when Kongpipop applied pressure he was able to reach deep for something more, and maintained his domination.

There was a period however, in the third round, when it appeared that Attaché might run out of fighting juice. But he found his second wind in the fourth round and never looked in trouble.

The solid win has restored Attachai as a championship contender. A fully fired up Attachai is an extremely tough competitor and, on his last performance, he could well be heading for a winning streak.
